If you are going to use this for wordpress version 3 and above, the latest versions, make the following changes:

global $wpdb;
$tablecomments = „wp_comments“;
$tableposts = „wp_posts“;

This way, the plugin will still work.

Is there any way to program Zap Recent Commented so that it displays only the comments of posts that are in the category that you are currently in?

In other words, it displays posts of the parent category of the post you are viewing.

Hi, Zappelfillip. I liked very much your plugin. I‘m not a programmer, but i did some little modifications, and translated some words to portuguese. You can see it on my blog ww.prosaepolitica.com.br.

I need to insert some little modifications in your plugin. Could you help me?

1) I would like to insert the count posts number before each title on the “last comments” (in Portuguese there is “últimos comentários”). Is it possible to display with “( )” after the title?

2) I would like too that the last comments‘ author name display when mouseover the title.

I‘d be apreciated with your answer

I am wondering how to display the author of the comment, ex:
author 1 on article 1
author 2 on article 2
etc….

ich habe das Plugin auch eingebaut und habe den Code in die Sidebar.php eingefügt.Wie muß ich den Code einfügen,das er design unterlegt ist,bzw,das er sich dem Design anpaßt.Momentan habe ich eine ekelhafte blaue Schrift von den Links.
